Energy I-Corps Teams
The team is the core unit of Energy I-Corps program and is built around a lab-developed technology ready for commercialization. The team consists of a Principal Investigator (PI), an Entrepreneurial Lead (EL), and at least one Industry Mentor (IM). During their training, teams will identify potential market pathways for their selected technology, as well as identify opportunities where further development could lead to commercial value.
Teams will spend 50-75% of their time over the course of the two-month program participating in lectures, workshops, and weekly webinars to help them evaluate the market potential of their technologies and bring new perspectives and entrepreneurial skills back to their research and lab colleagues.
